Here is the before with the pieces pinned up with tape to give me an idea of what it would look like:
And here is the after!:

We used a transfer method. (You can watch this step-by-step on the blik website if you are considering using wall decals.) Kinda nerve-wracking at first (I was scared that I would rip the graphic, especially at the tips of the buildings) but I'm really glad I didn't and that it came out nicely! Overall, a rather easy way to spruce up a wall without painting. Plus, for all you renters out there, this decal is removable just by peeling.
Huzzah!

I bought wall decals, too, for the baby's room and it was sooooo fun putting them up - almost stress-relieving...I loved peeling the backing off. So liberating. I love your decals...I'm wondering if I should add some to our living area, too.
Mo, it's fantastic! I really love it with your couch and that blue pillow. Great job! I might have to give wall decals a try too.
It's so cute & looks great, Mo! I love the print you chose!

How fun! I am obsessed with hot air balloons! I'm jealous!
Thank you! I keep looking at the wall, it's taking some time to get used to haha.
@More Than Rubies: I can see how it's therapeutic, I too liked peeling the paper off. Kinda the way I feel when I clean out my purse.
super cute!! i was wondering if they are removable ~ thanks for that bit of info. :D now i want to try this in my apt.
very cute! love the placement of the pieces!
the decals turned out great, mo! i loved that there's a city scene and a sky scene w/ the hot air balloons.
i have been thinking about doing a decal forever and never bought one because I thought I would totally mess it up.
