Honeymoon Mini Book

[A mini scrapbook I made of our honeymoon trip to Japan]

I was on a scrapbooking frenzy this weekend! After finishing our guest book, I tackled a mini scrapbook (4 x 6) of our honeymoon. It has my favorite photos, dressed up with stickers, labels, and any maps, tickets, or cards that I saved from the trip. The letters on the front and the blue pom poms are from Martha Stewart Crafts. I couldn't find the link to the alphabet I used, but there are some other alphabet stickers from Martha Stewart on the web.

Here are some pages from the book. You'll notice that most of them consist of either food or cute animals, because if you're new to the blog, that's just how I roll.

I'm planning to do one for our last trip to New Mexico, one for my bridal shower, and then, well, more exciting things have to happen to me so I can make another book. :)

How do you like to remember your travels and big events?

This was obviously made with love and is a really nice way to capture your trip. Love it! I'm just a photo gal myself. Sometimes I'll bring home a bottle of ocean water, put it in a spray bottle and mist my hair with it before styling to get a nice beachy texture. It brings back memories at the same time but I don't think that's what you had in mind! - Kat

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this! I used to scrapbook, but haven't in forever, but these are so so so cute. I wish I'd done this for all my trips.

love your book making skills and those blue pom poms. it's so great that you printed out photos from your trip because it seems rarer and rarer that it happens in the digital age.

Thanks girls! I loved making it, these little books are so fun.

@Kat: What a clever way to bring the beach back with you!

@Kelly: You still can! This one took me 8 hours over the course of a couple of days. Wow, that sounds like a long time, doesn't it?

@honey my heart: I love prints too! But I wasn't entirely happy with the quality (they are from snapfish). Perhaps next time I should splurge a little.

These are so sweet!
I got prints from snapfish from my honeymoon and they're okay, but not great. I started doing their matte instead of gloss and I think that helped a little.

I really need to start scrapbooking my wedding. The photos are just sitting in a box waiting to get out! I really love this mini book and might have to borrow the idea for my honeymoon photos.

I love the idea of a mini book! So cute and much more manageable than the ginormous scrapbook I'm currently working on.
