I bookmarked the tutorial from Sweet Paul awhile ago and decided to make it into a craft project for the kids at the library. So tonight I made my example. Behold! My demolished book turned into a vase. It took me about 20 minutes, and then another 30 to make one flower. I got lazy and stopped after that.
After I was done, I realized, hey. These would make cool centerpieces! If you're having a literary themed wedding, how fun would these be sitting in the middle of the table with a bunch of paper flowers? It'd take a long time to make...but it'd definitely be unique!
Definitely check out Sweet Paul for inspiration, it's chock full of recipes and craft.

How fun! I saw a similar project done for a wedding awhile back. I love the concept. It's so unique! You did a great job, by the way.
