@Chic 'n Cheap Living: I know! I really want them! The boy isn't convinced. My favorite is the blue one in the top right corner, it looks a little paranoid.
For the banquet, FMIL wanted something people could put in their hutches at home (she's got some engraved picture frames and other figurines from weddings in hers.) We're going to tie a ribbon around a mini bamboo steamer w/candy, and there will be a small tag with our names on it (same thing as the stickers on our invites). That way people can keep the steamer with the ribbon if they want a memento.
But nothing beats the owls. Those baby bamboo steamers are not as cute.
@Emily: We'll see...soon because my wedding is just 5 weeks away! Maybe I'll just order a dozen myself if I get vetoed.
